    HOPE-A is the Hellenic Organic and Printed Electronics Association that organizes and coordinates the activities of industrial and research entities in Greece in the field of Organic and Printed Electronics (OEs), with the purpose of assisting them in achieving their goals.

    Some of the most important OE applications include Organic Photovoltaics - OPVs, e-paper, Organic Light Emitting Diodes - OLEDs for displays & lighting, sensors and biosensors, Thin Film Batteries - TFBs, Smart Packaging, Greenhouses, Automotive, Buildings, Smart Textiles, Photonics, etc., covering the whole value chain of the OE Products and Services.

    The Scopes of HOPE-A are to:

    • Create a network of companies working in the organic and printed electronics applications
    • Develop strong links between R&D, technology and manufacturing
    • Generate new technologies, applications, roadmap and reports
    • Support members to new markets and trade-shows
    • Strengthen contacts with public authorities
    • Distribute information from the markets
    • Attract funding and investments for the members
    • Represent and increase lobbying nationally and internationally
    • Strengthen collaborations with organic and printed electronics global organizations and companies
    • Organization of Exhibitions, Workshops, Seminars and training activities

    HOPE-A comprises of a strong network of more than 30 well-chosen members which consists of Companies from different industries related to the entire value chain of OEs, Universities and Research Centers. Moreover, HOPE-A has signed 7 strategic collaboration agreements with the following associations: Organic Electronics Saxony (OES), Center for Organic Production Technologies - N. Rhine-Westphalia (COPT.NRW), French Printed Electronics Association (AFELIM), Japanese Printed Electronics Association (JAPEC) and Innovation Alliance of Printed Electronics of China (IAPE), Korea Flex-ible & Printed Electronics Association (KoPEA), Hellenic Association of Photovoltaic Companies (HELAPCO) creating a network of more than 1000 entities worldwide active in the Organic & Printed Electronics field.
